株式会社Mint Town（本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役CEO：國光 宏尚）は既存株主であるジャフコグループをはじめ、国内外の大手事業会社などから10億円（昨年のシリーズCに続きシリーズDを実施 / 1st close）の資金調達を実施いたしました。また、今回の資金調達は、株式会社Thirdverseから分割後、Mint Townとして初の資金調達となります。今後はゲームクリエイターを中心に採用を強化し、Web3ゲーム・Web3ゲームプラットフォームの開発に注力いたします。

2023年5月に株式会社Thirdverseから分割したMint Townは、日本が世界に誇るサッカー漫画『キャプテン翼』のIPを利用したWeb3ゲーム『キャプテン翼 -RIVALS-』を運営しています。さらに、複数のWeb3ゲームの開発も進行中です。
その一方で、Web3ゲーム / 非Web3ゲームユーザーを対象にした新たなWeb3ゲームプラットフォームの開発も進めており、これに伴い採用を強化しています。このプラットフォームは、Web3ゲーム市場のさらなる拡大と革新を推進し、業界全体の発展やWeb3のマスアダプションを牽引することを目指しています。

Mint Town, Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Hironao Kunimitsu) has raised $7 Million (Series D following last year’s Series C / 1st close) from existing shareholders including the JAFCO Group, and major domestic and overseas business companies. This is Mint Town’s first fundraising since splitting off from Thirdverse Inc. The company is focusing on recruiting game creators and developing Web3 games and Web3 game platforms.

Mint Town, which split off from Thirdverse, Co., Ltd in May 2023, operates the Web3 game “Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS-” using the IP of “Captain Tsubasa,” a soccer manga that Japan is proud of. It is also developing several other Web3 games. Meanwhile, it is advancing the development of a new Web3 game platform targeting both Web3 and non-Web3 game users, and is strengthening its hiring efforts accordingly.
