■会社分割の背景
株式会社Thirdverseは『10億人が生活する新しい仮想世界の創造』をビジョンに掲げ、VRゲーム事業とWeb3ゲーム事業を進めてまいりました。
これまでの取り組みにより、両事業ともに成長し、新たなフェーズに入ったことから、それぞれの事業に合った適切な組織体制を構築する必要が生じました。
そのため、両事業を分割し、それぞれの会社で事業を行うことにいたしました。
分割後の両社の代表は引き続き現代表の國光が務めます。分割化により、両社はより専門性を高め、より効率的に事業を展開することが可能となります。今後は、株式会社ThirdverseはVR技術、株式会社Mint Townはブロックチェーン技術を活用し、世界中のユーザーに新しいエンターテインメント体験を提供してまいります。

Thirdverse, Co., Ltd. has been pursuing VR gaming and Web3 gaming businesses with the vision of “creating a new virtual world where a billion people live.”
Through its efforts so far, both businesses have grown and entered a new phase, necessitating the construction of appropriate organizational structures tailored to each business. As a result, the company has decided to spin off the Web3 gaming business into a separate entity.
Hironao Kunimitsu, the current representative, will continue to serve as CEO of both companies after the separation. With this division, both companies can enhance their expertise and operate their businesses more efficiently. Moving forward, Thirdverse, Co., Ltd. will focus on VR technology, while Mint Town Co.,Ltd. will utilize blockchain technology to provide new entertainment experiences to users around the world.
