株式会社Mint Town（本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役CEO：國光宏尚）は、KLab株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長：森田英克）のWeb3 関連事業を管轄する子会社、株式会社BLOCKSMITH&Co.（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長CEO：真田 哲弥）と共同開発したWeb3ゲーム『キャプテン翼 -RIVALS-』のTSUBASAガバナンストークン（$TSUGT）約5億2000万円分のバーンを実施しました。
ゲーム内消費によるトークンバーンに関して
『キャプテン翼 -RIVALS-』では、$TSUGTを11選手のPvPコンテンツであるArenaの参加チケットや選手強化のためのFusion機能等で利用します。ユーザーが利用した$TSUGTは運営の管理ウォレット上に蓄積され定期的にバーンされることになります。
今回、9月18日から開始されたArenaで主に消費されたTSUGT 17,042,232枚に関してトークンバーンを実施しました。これは日本円で5億2217万3988円*1に相当します。

トークンバーンの目的
このバーンによって永久に削除される$TSUGTは、二度と市場に戻ることはありません。結果として、市場における$TSUGTの需要が高まると、トークンの希少性が増し、価値の向上が見込まれます。これはホルダーにとってもメリットがあり、バーンを通じてそれぞれの保有トークンがより価値あるものになる可能性があります。今後は四半期に一度のバーン実施を検討しています。

Mint Town Co., Ltd. has announced the implementation of a token burn valued at approximately $3.49 million of the TSUBASA Governance Token ($TSUGT) for the web3 game “Captain Tsubasa – RIVALS,” co-developed with BLOCKSMITH & Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of KLab Inc. overseeing its Web3-related business.
About Token Burns from In-Game Consumption
In “Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS-,” $TSUGT is used for participation tickets in the 11-player PvP content Arena, and for the Fusion feature to enhance players. The $TSUGT used by players accumulates in the management wallet of the operator and is periodically burned.
This time, we implemented a token burn for the 17,042,232 TSUGTs primarily consumed in the Arena that started on September 18th. This is equivalent to $3,490,249.

Purpose of the Token Burn
The $TSUGT permanently removed by this burn will never return to the market. As a result, the increased demand for $TSUGT in the market is expected to increase the scarcity of the token, potentially enhancing its value. This is also beneficial for the holders, as the burn could make their held tokens more valuable. We are considering implementing burns once every quarter going forward.
