株式会社Mint Town（本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役CEO：國光宏尚）は、自社が運営するWeb3ゲーム『キャプテン翼 -RIVALS-』と、株式会社gumi（本社：東京都新宿区、代表取締役社長：川本 寛之）が開発中のブロックチェーンゲーム『ブレイブ フロンティア バーサス』との間で、主にマーケティング施策等における協業の検討を開始したことをお知らせします。
協業検討の目的
gumiは、主軸となるモバイルオンラインゲーム事業に次ぐ、第二の収益源として、モバイルオンラインゲーム分野における豊富な経験と強固なネットワークを生かし、ブロックチェーン事業の拡充を図っています。2022年にはSBIホールディングスおよびスクウェア・エニックス・ホールディングスとの資本業務提携を実施し、約70億円の資金を調達しました。さらに、自社IPである大ヒットモバイルゲーム『ブレイブ フロンティア』の世界観やキャラクターを利用したブロックチェーンゲーム『ブレイブ フロンティア バーサス』を発表しています。
一方で、Mint Townはブロックチェーン技術とその応用分野における専門的な知識、ならびにグローバルなコネクションを有しています。gumiとMint Townの協業によって、両社の強みを組み合わせ、Web3のマスアダプションを目指して新たな可能性を拓いて参ります。
『ブレイブ フロンティア バーサス』概要
『ブレイブ フロンティア バーサス』は、全世界合計3,800万ダウンロードを突破した『ブレイブ フロンティア』シリーズのスピンオフタイトルとして、PvPを中心としたGameFi要素を備えた新しいWeb3ゲームです。バトルに勝利することでトークンに交換可能なアイテムや豪華報酬も！上位レアリティのユニットやスフィアはNFT化可能で、プレイヤー同士でトレードを行うことができる予定です。

『キャプテン翼 -RIVALS-』概要
『キャプテン翼 -RIVALS-』は、原作『キャプテン翼』に実際に登場する選手たちをNFTで育成し、他のプレイヤーと対戦できる新感覚ブロックチェーンゲームです。原作を完全再現した「ライバルモード」、選手やサポートキャラクターでオンライン対戦ができる「PvPモード」、さらに新たに実装した、11選手での本格的なPvPを実現した「Arenaモード」の3つのゲームモードが楽しめます。
NFTとなった選手には、ゲーム内で再生される必殺技3D動画と音楽家・プロデューサー・DJの大沢伸一（MONDO GROSSO）氏が手掛けるジェネラティブBGMがそれぞれ付属します。世界に一つだけのオリジナルNFTを育て、チームを作り、ライバルたちと対戦することができます。

Mint Town Co., Ltd. announces the commencement of discussions for collaboration, particularly in marketing strategies, between its own Web3 game “Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS-” and the blockchain game “Brave Frontier Versus” currently in development by gumi Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroyuki Kawamoto).
Objective of the Collaboration
gumi is seeking to expand its blockchain business as a secondary revenue source following its primary mobile online game business, leveraging its extensive experience and strong network in the mobile online game sector. In 2022, gumi executed capital and business alliances with SBI Holdings and Square Enix Holdings, raising approximately 7 billion yen. Additionally, gumi has announced “Brave Frontier Versus,” a blockchain game utilizing the world and characters of its hugely successful mobile game “Brave Frontier.” On the other hand, Mint Town possesses specialized knowledge in blockchain technology and its applications, as well as global connections. Through collaboration, both gumi and Mint Town aim to combine their strengths to explore new possibilities and promote mass adoption of Web3.
About “Brave Frontier Versus”
“Brave Frontier Versus” is a new Web3 game with GameFi elements focused on PvP, as a spin-off title of the “Brave Frontier” series, which has surpassed 38 million downloads worldwide. Players can earn items convertible into tokens and luxurious rewards by winning battles. Higher rarity units and spheres can be NFT, allowing for trading between players.

About “Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS-”
“Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS-” is a groundbreaking blockchain game where players cultivate NFT-based characters from the original “Captain Tsubasa” series and compete against others. The game features a fully recreated “Rival Mode” based on the original, an online “PvP Mode”, and a newly implemented “Arena Mode” allowing for intense 11-player PvP.
