株式会社Mint Town（本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役CEO：國光宏尚）は、既存投資家であり、世界最大のWeb3ゲーミングギルドであるYield Guild Gamesと、『キャプテン翼 -RIVALS-』におけるグローバルマーケティング連携を強化することを発表しました。2022年には、Mint Townの前身であるThirdverseがYield Guild Gamesと資金調達およびパートナーシップを締結していました。分社化を経てMint Townとなり、改めて協定締結に至りました。今回の連携により世界で通用するWeb3ゲーム・コンテンツの創出を目指します。

Mint Townは、BLOCKSMITH&Co.との共同開発による新感覚Web3ゲーム『キャプテン翼 -RIVALS-』において、世界最大のWeb3ゲーミングギルドを運営するYield Guild Gamesとの間で、双方が持つ強みを活かしてWeb3ゲームの発展に貢献するという共通のビジョンのもと、今後の連携を強化することになりました。これにより、2022年にYield Guild Gamesからの資金提供を始め、グローバルマーケティングや事業開発の分野での連携を含む、幅広い協業体制を確立します。
Yield Guild Gamesについて

『キャプテン翼 -RIVALS-』概要
『キャプテン翼 -RIVALS-』は、原作『キャプテン翼』に実際に登場する選手たちをNFTで育成し、他のプレイヤーと対戦できる新感覚ブロックチェーンゲームです。原作を完全再現した「ライバルモード」、選手やサポートキャラクターでオンライン対戦ができる「PvPモード」、さらに新たに実装した、11選手での本格的なPvPを実現した「Arenaモード」の3つのゲームモードが楽しめます。
NFTとなった選手には、ゲーム内で再生される必殺技3D動画と音楽家・プロデューサー・DJの大沢伸一（MONDO GROSSO）氏が手掛けるジェネラティブBGMがそれぞれ付属します。世界に一つだけのオリジナルNFTを育て、チームを作り、ライバルたちと対戦することができます。『キャプテン翼 -RIVALS-』公式アンバサダーには、プロサッカー選手の長友佑都氏、アンドレス イニエスタ氏が就任し、大きな注目を集めました。
